iGEs — Intelligent Geodetic Engineering Systems (“iGEs”, “we”) respects your privacy and complies with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
1. Our two roles
- Personal information controller for account holders, website visitors, waitlist and demo requests, and subscription billing.
- Personal information processor for the records a firm keeps in iGEs about its own clients, employees and suppliers. The firm is the controller of that data; we process it only on the firm's documented instructions under our Data Processing Agreement.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, mobile number, password (stored only as a secure hash), MFA settings.
- Practice data: firm name and type, PRC license number, business address, TIN, tax profile.
- Firm records you enter: leads, clients, properties and titles, quotations, projects, files, billing, payments, expenses, payroll, equipment and vehicles.
- Usage and device data: log-ins, IP address, device and browser type, pages used, and the audit trail of changes.
- Marketing data: UTM/campaign parameters from links you followed, and your marketing consent.
3. Why we use it
- To provide, secure and support the service you subscribed to (contract).
- To comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting record retention (legal obligation).
- To prevent fraud and abuse and to keep an audit trail (legitimate interest).
- To send product news and offers — only if you consent, and you can withdraw consent any time (consent).
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with sub-processors that help us run iGEs — cloud hosting and database (Singapore region), email and SMS delivery, payment processing, error monitoring and document text-recognition — each bound by contract to equivalent safeguards, and with authorities when the law requires.
5. Security
Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest; additional field-level encryption for TINs, government ID numbers, bank account numbers and salaries; row-level security isolating each firm; MFA; role-based access; an immutable audit log; malware scanning of uploads; and daily backups with point-in-time recovery.
6. Retention
We keep account and firm data while your subscription is active and for a limited period afterward so you can export it. Tax-related records may be retained for the period required by the National Internal Revenue Code. Uploaded files processed by iCheck that are not saved to a project are deleted after 24 hours.
7. Your rights
You have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to erasure or blocking, to damages, to file a complaint with the NPC, to rectification and to data portability. Use Settings → Data to export your data, or email our Data Protection Officer at iges.admin@gmail.com. For records a firm keeps about you, contact that firm first; we will assist them.
8. Breach notification
If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to give rise to a real risk of serious harm, we will notify the NPC and affected persons within the period required by NPC rules, and the affected firms without undue delay.
9. Changes
We will post updates here and notify account owners of material changes. See also our Data Privacy Notice and Terms of Service.
